Nowadays there are 8 monuments of national architecture in the village of Rubcheila. One of them is the house of Mikhailov.
The house integrates living and household rooms under one roof.
It is a typical sample of traditional peasants' house of northern Karelians. The front of the house is decorated with a balcony, and has 3 windows in the hut and 2 windows in the inner porch. The brackets, which support the roof, have the form of hooks. The stove is according to the Karelian tradition, oriented to the sidewall. The house is in a row of living houses on the northern edge of the village.
