Rybreka is 100 km far from Petrozavodsk. This is one of the largest villages in Karelia. Its main street spreads for 4 km along the bank of Onego Lake.
Its native population is Vepps. National features of folk architecture are well noted in decoration of traditional houses. The landscape’s peculiar feature is a rocky terrace along Veppsian shoreline.
