Suhoye is located in 18 km to the north east from Belomorsk, on the shore of the White sea.
In the territory of the village Suhoye are situated the church of the Mother of God of Kazan (the end of XIX – beginning of XX century) and the village cemetery (the end of XIX – beginning of XX century), which are in the list of identified monuments of architecture and history of the White Sea area. The church of the Mother of God of Kazan is of historical and architectural interest as one of ,that have survived to the present, examples of religious buildings Pomeranian White Sea area of coastal settlements.
