The Chapel of John the Baptist is in the center of the village. It has a very high belfry, which is an exact copy of the belfry of the Chapel of George Victorious in Ust-Jandoma.
The chapel is faced with boards. The felling is not seen under the facing so it is difficult to define the date of the construction of the chapel. Semicircular windows of the chapel are unusual for these region.
The chapel is in the range of a small bay, which separates the village. All the streets and the roads seem to be oriented by the chapel.
